Why You Need Professional Travel Pants

Bluff Works

It can be so difficult to look good while traveling. I’m limited to whatever my backpack can fit so it’s unlikely I’m going to bring more than one dress pants. Sometimes, you need to look fancy even while traveling. Here’s one pants that not only looks good but works really well for traveling.

I’ll be heading to Europe in a week and there’s going to be a few occuacitions where I’ll need to look good. Stephanie and I plan to go somewhere nice and fancy in Rome for Valentines day after we get back from Finland. I’d like to wear something nice to dinner. Then I have to attend a conference in Berlin, go a few parties, and meet people that will help send me to awesome locations around the world. I might check out the club scene in Berlin too because I’ve heard the nightlife is amazing. I need to look good and my jeans won’t cut it.

No matter where you are in the world, there’s going to be a moment at least once where you need to look more professional and neat whether it be a club, bar, getting a job overseas, or a date.

Based out of New York, Bluff Works has just launched a highly unique line of modern, wrinkle-free, versatile men’spants—for work, play and travel—that can be worn multiple times without washing or maintenance. They’re comfortable, easy to move around with, and they look good. These are the pants every traveler needs.

I actually first heard about Bluff Works while it was on Kickstarter. They raised $128,722 when they only needed $13,500. They were hugely successful in their campaign and I’m glad they were.

I love these pants. I hardly ever need to wash them and they don’t wrinkle after I shove them in my backpack. It’s a travelers dream pants and I am definitely taking them to Europe and all my future travels from now on. I honestly don’t have any complaints about them. They have cute guides on the inside about how to wash them and how to treat them. Before ordering, there’s a helpful fit guide to help you get the perfect pair.

Now to find a shirt to go along with it.

Bluff Works sent me a complementary pair for review. All opinions are my own.

Michael-these are great pants. I too found them on Kickstarter and had a chance to meet Stefan Loble, founder, while in NYC recently. Keep spreading the word.

These look fantastic – now they just need to make a version for women. I usually have to opt with a skirt or a dress if I’m going to something business casually, but it would be amazing to be able to add a versatile pair of pants to the line-up.

It’s always important to look professional!!! I don’t think a lot of bloggers get that. Great pants!

Actually Andi, I also see a lot of journalists – even business journos – who don’t get that. It’s not about vanity, but looking professional and respectful of your business colleagues who actually make an effort to deal with you. Plus people take you more seriously if you dress the part. In my case, I always bring my wrinkle-free, black blazer that my sis bought in Europe. I put it on and it polishes my look (even if I’m just wearing a t-shirt and jeans).

      And Michael – nice pants!

I am looking for a new pair of travel pants but I don’t think they contain a concealed pocket. I agree that having a nice pair of pants and shirt is necessary for extended travel.

I’m constantly on patrol for this sort of thing. It seems so easy. Why not just take clothing that looks normal and swap out the fabric for something that isn’t awful? Simple! But surprisingly rare!
