Ever crave a Snickers bar and need just one battery at the same time? Thanks to the Snickers marketing team in China, it is now possible to buy two Snickers bars and get one free battery in a single packaged purchase. Amazing.
The idea is that the Snickers bars provide energy, hence the battery. Hopefully, a kid doesn’t think the battery is part of the meal.
I’m not sure if I intended to create this article with a purpose but I found it humorous.

Brilliant and so Chinese! I think hey are hoping you wil buy four snickers! Most thongs on the supermarkets has some random freebie, some of them make sense like buy 4 bottles of fizzy drinks and get a free plastic glass others buy some juice and get some bug spray!
Yeah, there are a ton of these type of promotions. The plastic glass or bowls are the most popular freebies. I love all the free samples. I can go having nearly a full meal of just samples.

I think anything goes as far as marketing strategy. But who knows, you’ll never know when you might need an extra battery so might as well get one with your favorite chocolate bar.
